Nam Phuong Foundation – Projects from 2014 to 2019

PROJECTS OF NAM PHUONG FOUNDATION
– Building bridges for the poor.:
Within a short period of time, Nam Phuong Foundation – the Frist Philanthropy by Students Worldwide for Vietnam – has been contributing 25 bridges, estimated to be worth nearly VND 26,183,000,000, supporting more than 15,300,000 safe travel for local people in 8 provinces, 12 districts and 22 communes in the Mekong Delta and highland area of Vietnam.

We don’t just build bridges, we build gateways of necessity and opportunity for those in need. Working together with local governments, we’re dedicated to improving the lives of these communities through micro-infrastructure projects that are low cost, high impact, and long term. We believe that by supporting local projects we can make a greater impact on issues that would not normally be addressed by larger philanthropic organizations.

During 5 years, NPF has been working hard to bring as many supports to local communities as possible.

Hopefully, there will be no hurtful stories about kids who die because of water-related accidents. Those new bridges have been giving children chances to experiences safe steps to schools, giving people opportunities to get good ways to work; partly contribute to better living conditions, and contribute to the local economy. Hence, it gives us all a sense of hope for the future.

– Helping disadvantaged areas:
Nam Phuong Foundation also calls for support from businesses and sponsors. Many Vietnamese companies such as AA Corporation, Masan Consumers, Ton Dong A, VinaOne Steel, DatVietVAC Group Holdings,… have been responded. They provide food, cash, and gifts to give immediate supports to those who need the most.
